1. The service
Job Pulse is a subscription web application for construction contractors providing job costing and profitability tracking, AIA-style applications for payment, time-and-materials billing, and receivables tracking. The documents Job Pulse produces are working equivalents in an AIA style; they are not official licensed AIA forms.
2. Accounts and companies
- Each user account belongs to exactly one company workspace. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials confidential.
- Company owners and administrators manage their company’s users and settings, including the QuickBooks connection described in Section 5.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse the service or attempt to access another company’s data; probe or disrupt the service or its security; use the service to violate law or another party’s rights; or resell access except as we agree in writing.
4. Your data
- Your company’s business records in Job Pulse remain your property. You grant us the license needed to host, process, sync, back up, and display them to operate the service for you.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for data you authorize us to pull from QuickBooks.
- Our handling of personal information and QuickBooks data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
5. QuickBooks Online integration
- Connection.A company owner or administrator may connect the company’s QuickBooks Online company to Job Pulse through Intuit OAuth. One QuickBooks company can be connected to only one Job Pulse company, and one Job Pulse company to only one QuickBooks company at a time.
- What syncs. As described in the Privacy Policy: costs, customers, and related records flow from QuickBooks into Job Pulse; pay applications and T&M invoices you submit in Job Pulse are created as invoices in QuickBooks with the relevant PDF attached; additional writes (sub-customers, credit memos, and — if you enable it — payments) occur only as described in the product and the Privacy Policy.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for reviewing synced information in both systems, for your mapping and cost-code settings, and for your books. Job Pulse does not provide accounting, tax, or bookkeeping advice, and sync does not replace review by your accountant or bookkeeper.
- Conflicts. If a record is changed in QuickBooks after Job Pulse created it, Job Pulse flags the difference rather than silently overwriting; the product presents the choices available to resolve it.
- Availability. The integration depends on Intuit’s services and APIs, which may change, throttle, or become unavailable; Intuit may also require periodic reconnection. We are not responsible for Intuit’s acts or omissions.
- Disconnect. You may disconnect at any time in Settings or revoke access inside QuickBooks. On disconnect, syncing stops and stored QuickBooks tokens are revoked and deleted; synced data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
- QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit, Inc.Job Pulse is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit except as an integration partner through Intuit’s developer program.
6. Fees
Fees for the service are as agreed in your subscription or order.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce core functionality.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Job Pulse does not warrant that synced figures will be error-free; you remain responsible for verifying your books and filings.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account as described in the product and Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, and disputes arising out of or relating to the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date; material changes will also be announced to company owners/admins by email before they take effect. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
